Since 2022 I work at KORA where I am mainly involved in the Balkan Lynx Recovery Programme (BLRP), wolf monitoring and some lynx projects in Switzerland.
I studied general biology at the University of Lausanne and at the University of Helsinki and then obtained a Master of Science in Behaviour, Evolution and Conservation at the University of Lausanne. My First Step project was on "estimating the density of (male) roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) from a camera trap survey" and my Master's thesis on "data gaps and biases for threatened species in east Africa and the implications for biodiversity conservation".
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature and getting involved in environmental organisations. I am also a member of the IUCN SSC Species Monitoring Specialist Group.
