After having worked as a research assistant in the food industry, I studied ecology at the University of Fribourg. My Master's thesis focused on the ecological importance of wood ant nests in the Swiss Prealps, in particular their role in the winter and spring diet of Tetraonidae. In addition, I used camera traps to characterise the animal communities observed on and around the ant nests and analysed the influence of temperature, snow cover and weather conditions on the occurrence of these species.
Since 2023 I have the pleasure to be part of the KORA team, where I'm involved in the camera trap monitoring of wolves.
In my free time I like to be in the mountains and enjoy our beautiful nature. But I also enjoy social moments, such as sharing a good meal with friends, accompanied by an excellent glass of wine.
