I studied ecology and statistics at the University of Zurich. In my Master's thesis, I focussed on the influence of habitat on Alpine marmots, in particular snow cover. I then worked as a research assistant in the monitoring programme of the Swiss National Park, where I was responsible for collecting, cleaning and analysing a wide range of ungulate data sets. I also analysed the development of the chamois population in the park over the last 30 years. I have been working in wolf monitoring at KORA since 2024. My main tasks include coordinating genetic monitoring using faecal samples between the cantons and the laboratory. In my free time, I can usually be found in the mountains of Switzerland.
