After studying behavioural ecology at the University of Bern, I finished my PhD in evolutionary ecology at the University of Zürich and Jyväskylä, Finland. After that, I was awarded an SNF fellowship to study how connectivity between meta populations affects the planning of protected areas in Australia. In the subsequent Postdoc project in Germany, I studied how the presence of wolves affects red deer population dynamics, their behaviour, and how this can affect the vegetation. I joined the company in July 2022 as programme manager and deputy managing director, and took over as managing director in March 2025.
