I studied biology at the University of Zurich, where I completed my Master’s degree in ecology. During my Master’s thesis, I investigated lynx reproduction in the context of declining genetic diversity in Switzerland. It was during this time that I first became involved in project work with KORA, and I was particularly draw to the combination of office and field work! Currently, I am involved in the project «Genetics, Health and Demography» (GHD) of lynx in Switzerland, carrying out monitoring tasks and am also responsible for trapping and telemetry technology. In my free time, I also enjoy being outdoors: whether identifying plants, hunting, or going on tours on foot, by bike, or on skis.
