I studied Natural Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid (Spain) and completed an MSc in Wildlife Management, where my thesis focused on the impact of maritime traffic on sea turtle movements in the Mediterranean. After working at a wildlife rehabilitation center, I carried out a PhD at the Institute for Game and Wildlife Research (Spain), in collaboration with the University of California in Davis, investigating how behavior and movement patterns influence disease transmission in wildlife and at the wildlife–livestock interface. I joined KORA in May 2025 as postdoctoral researcher within a joint project with the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) to assess the effects of linear infrastructures, such as roads and railways, on Eurasian lynx dispersal in Central European populations.
