During my biology studies at ETH Zurich, where I specialised in ecology and evolution, my Master’s thesis focused on the cascading effects of human disturbance on wild ungulates and forest regeneration.
Since 2025, I have been working at KORA as a PhD student. As part of the Integrated Monitoring and Management project, I investigate how large carnivores influence wild ungulates and how the resulting changes in browsing affect forest regeneration and the long-term development of our forests. Through my research, I aim to support science-based decision-making in forest and wildlife management.
