My PhD, a collaboration between the University of Zurich and KORA, focuses on assessing the ecological and social carrying capacity for wolves and lynx in Switzerland. I’m especially interested in the relationship between humans and wildlife and how to promote sustainable coexistence on our shared planet – as much between humans and wildlife as among the human population. My research aims to contribute to informed decision-making in the conservation and management of large carnivores at our doorstep.

In my bachelors, I studied Liberal Arts and Sciences, specialising in Earth, Environmental, and Sustainability Sciences, in Freiburg (Germany), and Biology in Grenoble (France). In my masters, I studied Environmental Management of Mountain Areas in Bolzano (Italy), and Innsbruck (Austria).
