The Lynx In The Reference Area Surselva
In winter 2024/2025, camera-trap monitoring was conducted in three reference areas. In addition to the North-Eastern Switzerland area and Upper Valais, the Surselva reference area has now also been analysed.

20 Years of Bears in Switzerland
Since the return of the brown bear 20 years ago, Switzerland has gained experience in dealing with large predators. Most individuals roam the country unnoticed, and conflicts such as ransacked beehives are rare. A flyer and a new web file document two decades of bear presence and hint at what the future might hold for Ursus arctos in Switzerland.
