Carnivore Damage Prevention News
This issue covers the EU Horizon CoCo project on the coexistence of pastoral farming and wildlife. It also addresses recent changes in European wolf protection policy and highlights the importance of effective damage prevention, based on a workshop in Spain and insights from predator management in Slovenia. Further articles explore innovative tools such as the Human–Bear Conflict Radar, a legal analysis of the EU Habitats Directive, and farmers’ perspectives on the potential reintroduction of large carnivores in the UK and Ireland.
