My interest in our natural environment has led me to study biology at the University of Zurich. For my Master Thesis I worked in Lucerne at the institute of aquatic research of the ETH. I investigated the habitat use and migration timing of stocked Atlantic salmon. My main interests lie in the spatial dynamic distribution and ecology of species, as well as in their management and protection due to human impacts. After my studies, I worked as a research associate at KORA in the monitoring of large carnivores, in research projects and in the further development of databases. Since 2023, I have been researching ecological, herd protection and management issues related to wolves in the Swiss cultural landscape as part of a PhD. In my free time I am in the mountains or involved in nature conservation around Bern.
